A day of artistic pleasures!!

Hey there!!  I had a great day out with the wife and kids yesterday!!  It started out foggy and ugly that morning, but the Creator opened up those clouds and let the sun shine through.

We took Karri to school so that she could finish her last class before the Holiday.  After that we had to stop at BJC to pick up Jenae's asthma medicine.  I just have to say, the prices for inhalers are ridiculous!!  We are going to look for a natural way to help Lil Homie out with her asthma.

Anywho, after leaving the doctor's office, we headed over to SweetArt so that Karri and Jenae could try their cupcakes.  Once we arrived we realized that everyone in the city was there trying to horn in on our special treat!!  The place was packed, but the SweetArt staff moved them right along.  Once we were served, we got our box of joy and took it out doors since it turned out to be a really wonderful St. Louis afternoon.   Zuri got a lavender cupcake, Jenae and Karri got lemon and I got sweet potato pie!!  Boy were they yummy.  BIG up's to Reine and Cbabi for giving the STL a wonderful eatery!!

After leaving SweetArt with our bellies full of delicious, finger SUCKING good sweetness, we headed over to Artmart to get the girls some sketch pads.  Now, I don't know if you are an artist, but whether you are or not, you would truly enjoy Artmart!!  They have a great selection of art supplies and picture frames.  The kids a blast there.  Since Zuri says she wants to be an artist, I thought it would be fitting to take her and let her get her first sketchbook.  Even though Jenae say's she wants to be a veterinarian, she is a also a darn good doodler too.  All in all, we had a great time hanging out on day number one of the thanks giving holidays.

Dee was traveling yesterday on his way to Orlando to spend the holidays with his favorite aunt and uncle.  He  is pretty excited.  The last time he was in Florida he was a kid.  I'm sure he is going to have a great time having fun in the sun now that he is a young adult!!  I wish I was there with him, but I'm sure he will have plenty of fun without me.

Can you say "Reality Show"....hmmmm

Ever since I started this blog, I thought it would make a great reality show.  I have been pondering this for long enough.  The basic premise of the show would be a camera crew following around MEN who have visitation of their children.  It would show what we have to go through to try and squeeze 365 days of love and time into a handful of weekends.  I would also like for it to show how some of these mom's treat us (both good and bad) when it comes to us and our children.  I would like to shine a light on the Child Support System and how it mistreats GOOD DADS.  There is so much I want to do with this, plus with all the negative press out there about the dead beat dad's who "don't", I think we really need to start focusing on the Father's who "DO"!!  So many times we get lost in the herd of those guy's that make babies and leave.  I know so many MEN who make sure that no matter what they go through with their child's mother, that they never loose sight of their child!!  Keep me in your prayers as I work at making "Part Time Dad/Full Time Love" a reality show!!!

Let me know what you think?  Would this make a great reality show and more importantly, would you watch it?
